Žuljana, Coastal settlement on Peljesac Peninsula, Croatia.
Located 80 kilometers from Dubrovnik, Zuljana extends along a protected cove with pine forests meeting the Adriatic Sea waters.
The settlement, first documented in the 12th century, received its name from the Church of Saint Julian built during medieval times.
The 200 inhabitants maintain traditional practices of fishing, wine production, and olive oil making throughout different seasons of the year.
The village contains three restaurants, two local stores, multiple private apartments, and two diving centers that operate during summer months.
The waters around Zuljana feature underwater caves and rich marine life, making it a center for diving activities in the Dubrovnik-Neretva region.
