Semple Stadium

Semple Stadium is a sports venue in Thurles with a main grandstand, covered seating, and open terraced areas that hold approximately 53,000 spectators. The facility includes multiple sections and modern amenities designed primarily for hurling and Gaelic football competitions.

The grounds were purchased in 1910 through a community share scheme, establishing a venue that would grow into Ireland's second largest sports facility. Over the decades, it developed into a major hub for Gaelic sports competitions.
