Drumacoo Early Medieval Ecclesiastical Site, Medieval monastic site and national monument in County Galway, Ireland.
The stone church at Drumacoo features both an early medieval architecture and a Gothic Revival mausoleum incorporated into its remains.
The monastic settlement at Drumacoo was established in the sixth century by Saint Sárnait, an associate of Colman mac Duagh, who was buried at Saint Sourney's Bed.
The thirteenth-century double-arched pointed doorway exhibits intricate stone carvings depicting cat heads, leaves, and chevron patterns in medieval Irish style.
Located 1.5 kilometers north of Ballinderreen village, the ecclesiastical site remains open to visitors as a designated national monument of Ireland.
The 1830 mausoleum, built by Arthur French St George for Lady Harriet St George, daughter of the Earl of Howth, adjoins the medieval church structure.
