HaMakhtesh Stadium

HaMakhtesh Stadium provides space for 5,500 spectators across three sections, with the eastern stand accommodating 3,000 visitors behind one of the goals.

Originally purchased by Givatayim founders in 1927, the site was initially intended as a botanical garden before becoming an amphitheater for Borochov neighborhood residents.

The stadium served as the home ground for Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim football club and Hapoel Givatayim team from the 1940s through the late 1970s.

Following extensive renovations between 2007 and 2008, the facility received new grass turf and modern irrigation systems to improve playing conditions.

The stadium site transformed in 2011 into a residential complex with two towers of 26 and 17 floors, incorporating 165 apartments and a public park.
