Givatayim, Municipal council and residential city in Tel Aviv District, Israel
Located east of Tel Aviv, Givatayim extends across two hills and encompasses 3.2 square kilometers with numerous residential neighborhoods and parks.
The establishment of Shekhunat Borokhov in 1922 marked the foundation of Givatayim as the first workers' suburban development in Jewish Palestine.
The municipal education system includes 41 kindergartens, 9 elementary schools, and 4 high schools, serving the local population of 61,924 residents.
The city maintains 26 public parks and squares, which constitute 10 percent of its total area, providing recreational spaces for residents.
