Rampur Lok Sabha constituency, Parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Rampur Lok Sabha is a parliamentary constituency in northern Uttar Pradesh that includes five assembly segments: Suar, Chamraua, Bilaspur, Rampur, and Milak. The constituency covers both rural and urban areas where more than 1.7 million registered voters reside.
This constituency was created in 1952 when Maulana Abul Kalam Azad of the Indian National Congress won the mandate. Since then, voters have chosen their member for the Lok Sabha through every parliamentary election cycle.
The constituency contains multiple languages, religions, and traditions representing both urban populations and agricultural communities across its segments.
Polling dates and voting centers are determined by the election commission and announced across the constituency. Any citizen with registered voting rights can cast their vote at an assigned polling station.
In the 2024 election, Mohibbullah Nadvi received just under 50 percent of the vote, while the remaining ballots were spread among multiple candidates. This distribution shows how voters in this constituency consider several political options.
