Sikkal Singaravelan Temple

Sikkal Singaravelan Temple is a Hindu shrine in Tamil Nadu featuring a multi-tiered gateway structure that rises prominently above the surrounding area with distinct architectural sections. Inside, separate shrines are dedicated to different deities, creating a layered religious space with multiple worship areas.

This shrine originated during the Chola dynasty era and bears inscriptions from that period, documenting its long past. Over centuries, architectural elements from different historical phases were added, layering the structure with features from multiple ages.
