Malikipuram mandal

Malikipuram mandal is an administrative division in Andhra Pradesh comprising eleven villages spread across the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. The town of Malikipuram functions as the central administrative center for surrounding communities, connecting villages like Gudapalle, Gudimellanka, and Kesanapalle.

This administrative division was originally part of Godavari District before being incorporated into East Godavari District in 1925. With the creation of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, the region underwent reorganization and now falls under this newer administrative structure.

The eleven villages within Malikipuram mandal maintain their individual Gram Panchayats, which guide local governance and community development through traditional administrative systems.
