Museum of Old Herzegovina, Regional history museum in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Museum of Old Herzegovina occupies the former Hotel Gerstl site, presenting exhibitions about local history through artifacts, documents, and cultural collections.
Established in 1956, the museum building stands where Hotel Gerstl operated until World War II, after which Hotel Vucevo was built and later adapted.
The museum maintains four permanent exhibitions, including an ethnographic collection displaying traditional furniture, regional costumes, and household items from Herzegovina.
Located at Kralja Petra I 20 in Foča, the museum opens daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with advance booking required for guided tours.
Dr. Risto Jeremić, the first professional surgeon from Foča and graduate of Graz Medical Faculty, established this cultural institution in the 1950s.
