Butmir Training Centre, Training center in Butmir, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Butmir Training Centre is a sports facility in Sarajevo with three football fields spread across an expansive grounds. It features two natural grass pitches and one artificial turf field alongside auxiliary buildings, a botanical garden, and parking areas.
The complex opened in 2015 after FK Sarajevo acquired the land from Ilidža municipality. This marked the establishment of the club's first dedicated training facility.
The main artificial pitch is named after Želimir Vidović, who helped transport injured civilians during the Siege of Sarajevo. This tribute shows how sport and local history are connected at the facility.
The facility is accessible by car with ample parking available. The grounds are openly laid out and easy to navigate, with fields and buildings arranged in a logical way.
The facility integrates a botanical garden into its sports grounds, setting it apart from typical training centers. It also provides employment for local war veterans, contributing to community support.
