Churchill House, Renaissance Revival house in Hantsport, Canada.

The Churchill House displays classical Italian features with tall windows, ornate decorations, and a symmetrical structure reflecting 19th-century architectural preferences.

Built in 1860 by shipbuilder Ezra Churchill for his son John Wiley Churchill, the residence marks the flourishing period of shipbuilding in Hantsport.

The building now functions as a museum and community center, preserving maritime artifacts and showcasing the regional shipbuilding legacy of Nova Scotia.

The first floor underwent restoration in 1966, followed by the upper rooms in 1978 and the master bedroom in 1999, maintaining original colors and designs.

Churchill House stands on grounds containing magnificent cedar trees, earning its former name 'The Cedars' during the maritime shipping period.
