Calabogie Motorsports Park, Motorsports park in eastern ontario
Calabogie Motorsports Park is a race track in Ontario stretching over three miles with multiple track configurations available. The facility features wide corners, numbered turn markers, and a smooth surface with safety areas, all surrounded by forest.
The track opened in 2006 on a 500-hectare forested property near Calabogie, about an hour from Ottawa, designed by Alan Wilson. Starting with basic facilities operated from trailers, it has since grown into a modern venue hosting national racing series including the Canadian Superbike Championship and Porsche GT3 Cup events.
The park serves as a meeting place for motorcycle and car drivers from across the region who share skills and learn from each other. The community here values safety and mutual respect, with drivers supporting one another in achieving their goals on the track.
Visitors can reach the park by car from Ottawa via the Trans-Canada Highway, with the nearest major airport about an hour and a half away. On-site accommodations range from basic bunks to more comfortable suites, allowing drivers to stay close to the track.
The park was built on a large forested site that was deliberately sought to be close enough to cities yet far from residential areas. This location allows drivers to train and race without disturbing surrounding communities while maintaining access to urban resources.
