The original bank building was constructed in 1905 and remained a landmark on the street before sitting empty for years. The new tower started in 2014, wrapping the historic facade in a modern residential project.
The tower sits beside Massey Hall and historic theaters, making it part of Toronto's arts district. Visitors notice how modern housing coexists with the cultural venues that surround it.
