Centennial Concert Hall, Concert hall and performing arts center in downtown Winnipeg, Canada
The Centennial Concert Hall features a stage measuring 24 meters wide, 12 meters deep, and 33 meters tall, with seating for 2,305 spectators.
The venue was inaugurated in March 1968 as part of the Manitoba Centennial Centre, constructed for a total cost of 7.5 million Canadian dollars.
The performance space serves as the regular home for three major cultural organizations: the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Manitoba Opera.
Located at 555 Main Street in downtown Winnipeg, the concert hall provides monthly exhibitions that showcase works from over 200 Manitoba artists.
The concert hall required substantial renovations in 2019, including 15 million dollars worth of roof repairs due to aging materials and asbestos in the lobby ceiling.
