360 Main, Office skyscraper at Portage and Main, Winnipeg, Canada
360 Main is a 117 meter tall office tower with 31 floors located at Portage and Main in Winnipeg's downtown core. Its glass facade was completely renovated in 2018 and defines a significant portion of the financial district skyline.
The building was constructed between 1971 and 1978 under the original name Commodity Exchange Tower, serving as a trading hub for the city. A major renovation in 2018 transformed its interior and exterior into a contemporary office space.
The building reflects Winnipeg's role as a major business center, housing offices of large corporations. You can see how it serves as a hub for financial and corporate activity in the city.
The building connects directly to the Winnipeg Square underground mall, providing convenient access regardless of weather conditions. Parking facilities are available on-site, making it straightforward to arrive by car.
In 2015, the building received LEED Canada Gold Certification, becoming the first existing structure in Manitoba to achieve this environmental recognition. This achievement highlights how an older building can meet modern sustainability standards.
