Lakeview Square, Mixed-use development in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Lakeview Square is a full-block, mixed-use development in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, opened in 1974 and developed by Lakeview Properties, Ltd. It comprises the 18-storey, 410-room Delta Hotel; Holiday Towers, twin 27-storey apartment buildings with about 500 apartments; One Lakeview Square, a 19-storey office tower at 155 Carlton Street designed by Libling Michener & Associates; and Two and Three Lakeview Square, a connected low-rise structure at 175–185 Carlton Street with offices and first-floor retail.

Jack Levit of Lakeview Development Ltd. announced in October 1969 a CA$20 million apartment complex, to proceed once Metro's Downtown Development Plan became law. The Delta Hotel stands on the site of St. Mary's School, which closed in 1968 and burned in 1969. Lakeview Square opened in 1974, and in 2010 a block-long exterior skyway along the Delta's Saint Mary Avenue side linked it to the Winnipeg Walkway system.

The Japanese Hayashi garden on Carlton Street is a private park, not a public green space. It was created partly to commemorate Winnipeg's sister-city relationship with Setagaya, Japan, and also to replace a city park displaced by the construction of Lakeview Square. It serves as a unifying centre for the complex.

The complex connects to the Winnipeg Convention Centre through two skyway bridges, providing direct links to major event venues. Its location makes it convenient for both business visitors and people exploring the downtown area on foot.

The basement walkway beneath 175 and 185 Carlton Street still resembles a Venetian canal, a remnant of The Grand Canal of Venice, an Italian restaurant with singing waiters that opened with the complex in 1974 and closed soon after. The Ichi Ban teppanyaki steak house in the basement of 185 Carlton has operated since opening day; its 170-seat room was designed by Nat Hart, formerly head butler at Caesar's Palace, and served comedian Jack Benny in its first quarter.
