Tai Po Public Library, Public library in Tai Po District, Hong Kong.

Tai Po Public Library opened on 18 December 2004 on the fifth floor of the Tai Po Complex at 8 Heung Sze Wui Street, taking over from the Bao Wu Garden library. It covers about 3,600 square metres and holds roughly 140,000 items at opening, with a computer information centre, multimedia library and coffee corner.

Tai Po Library opened around October 1977 in Mei Tak Building on Kwong Fuk Road, occupying about 1,000 square feet with some 27,000 loanable books. It moved on 24 May 1991 to shop 201 on the second floor of Po Wu Garden, adding an audiovisual room and study room. On 18 December 2004 the present library opened on the fifth floor of the Tai Po Complex, replacing the Po Wu Garden branch.

The library's name and setting tie it to Tai Po Market: it sits on the fifth floor of the Tai Po Complex at 8 Heung Sze Wui Street, a building that also houses the Tai Po Hui Market and Cooked Food Centre and the Tai Po Hui Sports Centre, all opened in 2004. The complex was designed by Ng Chun Man & Associates (Hong Kong) Ltd. at a cost of HK$250 million.

The library occupies the fifth floor of the Tai Po Complex at 8 Heung Sze Wui Street, beside Tai Po Community Centre and Po Heung Estate. The complex has an open-air platform for visitors to rest. The library covers about 3,600 square metres and includes a computer information centre, multimedia library and coffee corner.

The library opened on 18 December 2004 on the fifth floor of the Tai Po Complex, a building designed by Ng Chun Man & Associates (Hong Kong) Ltd. at a cost of HK$250 million. It replaced the earlier Tai Po Library in Bao Wu Garden and held about 140,000 items at opening.
