Park Tower, Office skyscraper in Westend-Süd district, Frankfurt, Germany
Park Tower is a 28-story office building in Frankfurt's Westend-Süd district that rises approximately 380 feet (115 meters). Its black-and-silver facade combines glass surfaces with natural stone elements, creating a distinctive profile near the Opernplatz.
The tower was completed in 1972 as headquarters for Südwestdeutschen Genossenschafts-Zentralbank, a regional banking cooperative. It underwent comprehensive renovation between 2005 and 2007 to update its interior and systems.
The building's architectural design by Albert Speer & Partner combines a fully glazed structure with natural stone elements across its 28 floors.
The building sits in a central location between Opernplatz and other banking district landmarks. The surrounding area has good public transportation connections and is easily accessible on foot from nearby streets.
After construction, the building gradually sank about 31 centimeters over a decade as the ground settled under its weight. The foundation eventually stabilized, and the structure now remains firmly in place.
