Description
The OpernTurm is a modern office tower standing 170 meters tall with 43 floors located near the Alte Oper in Frankfurt. Its yellow-beige limestone facade faces the opera house and contains approximately 62,500 square meters of office space with flexible floor layouts served by 16 elevators.
History
The building was constructed between 2007 and 2009 on the site of the former Zürich-Haus, a 68-meter tower built in 1962. The new structure replaced this earlier building as part of Frankfurt's ongoing modernization of its financial district.
Culture
The main lobby displays a large painting titled Ahab by American artist Julian Schnabel, bringing contemporary art into a working space. Visitors notice how the building integrates artistic expression within a busy commercial environment.

The building is easily accessible by public transportation thanks to its location near Opernplatz in the city center. Since it is an active office building, visitor access to interior spaces may be restricted, though the lobby area is generally open to the public.
