Simbach am Inn, Administrative district in Bavaria, Germany

Simbach am Inn extends along the Inn River, bordering Austria with residential areas spreading across 47 square kilometers of Bavarian landscape.

The settlement emerged in historical records during 927 as Sunninpah and received official city status in 1951 after centuries of development.

The Pfingstdult industrial exhibition brings together regional manufacturers, while the Leonhardiritt horse procession maintains local equestrian traditions each October.

The town maintains direct train connections to Munich, Vienna, and Salzburg, with the nearest international airports located one hour away by car.

Simbach implemented electrical infrastructure three years before Munich and now generates forty megawatts from geothermal sources at 2,000 meters depth.
