Burg Binsfeld, Renaissance castle in Nörvenich, Germany.
The rectangular brick castle features three stories on the field side and two stories on the courtyard side with a round tower at its southeastern corner.
Built in 1533 by Werner von Binsfeld, the castle stands on foundations of an older structure and incorporates elements from medieval and Renaissance periods.
The castle displays architectural features typical of the Rhineland region, including loggia arches and a marriage coat of arms representing the Binsfeld-Nesselrode families.
The castle now functions as a senior residence with 180 places, following extensive modernization works completed in December 1993.
Two sets of six-arch loggias adorn both floors of the courtyard side, making it one of the most notable secular buildings in the Rhineland.
