Brückberg-Kaserne, Military barracks in Siegburg, Germany.
The Brückberg-Kaserne is a military barracks complex in Siegburg with multiple buildings, training grounds, and accommodation facilities for soldiers. The structures are arranged across a large area with administrative buildings and practice fields.
The site was established in 1920 on the grounds of a former Prussian munitions factory and initially built by French occupation troops under the name Caserne du Verdun. It later became an important military facility serving various Bundeswehr units over several decades.
The facility hosted the Bundeswehr Guard Battalion and Military Music Corps from 1959, performing ceremonial duties for government institutions in nearby Bonn.
Visitors should note that this is a former military complex with limited access, and information about viewing the site should be obtained in advance. The grounds are extensive, so plan enough time to explore the area.
Between 2004 and 2013, the barracks served as the headquarters for the Luftwaffe chief medical officer before integration into another medical facility.
