Lörmecke-Turm, Observation tower in Plackwald, Warstein, Germany.
The Lörmecke Tower reaches a height of 35 meters and features a steel spiral staircase with 204 steps leading to the observation platform.
The foundation stone was laid on August 16, 2007, and the tower's inauguration ceremony attracted 1,000 hiking enthusiasts on June 7, 2008.
The tower stands along the Plackweg, a former trade route that now serves as a hiking trail connecting various points in the Arnsberger Wald Nature Park.
Visitors can access the observation deck at 615 meters above sea level for views across the Arnsberger Wald Nature Park and surrounding mountains.
The structure consists of 144 Douglas fir trunks arranged in a cross pattern, with a diameter of 7 meters at its base and 5 meters in the middle.
