Stalburg Theater

The Stalburg Theater is a performance venue housed in a former dance hall in Frankfurt's Nordend district. The programming runs from September through June, presenting a varied mix of in-house productions and guest performances.

The site traces back to 1415 when it belonged to Claus Stalburg, a Frankfurt patrician. In the early 18th century, baroque renovations transformed the building into the structure seen today.

The stage hosts a mix of self-produced shows and guest performances that reflect the creative variety of the local arts scene. Visitors encounter contemporary works alongside experimental productions throughout the season.

Since 2003, the theater has organized Stoffel, a four-week summer event in Günthersburgpark that offers free daily programs. This initiative brings performances and music into an open-air setting during the warmest months of the year.
