Rheinanlagen Koblenz

Rheinanlagen Koblenz is a large park stretching about 3.5 kilometers along the left bank of the Rhine, with paths and green spaces for walking. It connects different parts of the city and offers views of the river and surrounding landscape throughout.

The park was created in the 1850s at the request of a princess who wanted a modern garden with English style elements. A renowned landscape designer from Berlin brought this vision to life, creating one of the region's first large parks of its kind.

The park shows how the city relates to the river, with locals and visitors using it for walks and moments by the water. The green spaces shape how people experience Koblenz and its connection to the Rhine.

The park is freely accessible and open all day, with wide, level paths suitable for walking and cycling. Several river boat docks are located directly in the park if you want to take a boat trip.

At the northern end, the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet very close together, a point many visitors overlook even though it is particularly interesting. From here you can see both rivers and watch their different colors and currents.
