Schlosskapelle Dresden, Gothic chapel in Dresden Castle, Germany
The Schlosskapelle Dresden features a ribbed vault design measuring 10.2 meters wide and 21.8 meters long within the Dresden Castle complex
Built between 1551 and 1553, the chapel underwent transformation in 1737 when Elector Friedrich August I converted to Catholicism and repurposed it for Catholic services.
The Golden Gate entrance portal incorporates Corinthian columns and biblical figures, demonstrating Renaissance architectural elements merged with religious symbolism.
