St. Dionysius, Catholic parish church in downtown Krefeld, Germany.
The church features a Latin cross layout with 20 Ionic sandstone columns covered in stucco marble and a 72.5-meter-high neo-Gothic tower.
First documented in 1166, the current St. Dionysius Church was constructed between 1754 and 1756 as the first Catholic church in Krefeld after the Reformation period.
The church displays modern stained glass windows created by Hubert Spierling in 1981, incorporating biblical and ornamental motifs throughout the structure.
The church opens Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering regular Eucharistic celebrations.
The Klais organ, installed in 2007, contains 40 registers specifically designed for German and French Romantic musical compositions.
