Stadtbad

The Stadtbad is a building complex in central Krefeld containing multiple swimming pools, water slides, and wellness areas. The structure also integrates an entomological collection and features various halls, including a men's hall planned for conversion into an event venue.

The building was founded in 1890 during the German Empire and displays architectural features of the Gründerzeit style. Swimming operations ended in 2003, yet the building itself remains as a cultural and community space.

This facility has long served as a gathering place for residents of Krefeld, where people come together and use the space for various events. The rooms remain an active part of the city's community life, hosting theatrical performances and other cultural activities.

Access is limited, with opening times on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and additional seasonal activities are planned for 2025. It is advisable to check current conditions and possible events beforehand before visiting the site.
