Steinzeitdorf Kussow

Steinzeitdorf Kussow is an outdoor museum with reconstructed dwellings and workshops from the Stone Age. The buildings show how people constructed shelter and organized their work roughly 5500 years ago.

The museum is based on findings from archaeological excavations in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania region. These discoveries helped researchers understand how people actually lived during the Stone Age.

Craft demonstrations show ancient techniques such as pottery and tool-making that people used in daily life. Visitors can watch how everyday work was carried out thousands of years ago.
