The Tierpark Gotha extends across six hectares of natural landscape, housing 130 animal species alongside two large playgrounds and observation points.
The zoo established its position in the nature reserve at Kleinen Seeberg, developing into an essential educational facility for wildlife conservation.
The park arranges seasonal celebrations including Easter festivities, Children's Day activities, and an annual Zoo Festival on September's first Sunday.
From April through October, the park welcomes visitors daily between 9:00 and 18:00, while winter hours from November to March run from 9:00 to 16:00.
QR codes installed throughout the park allow visitors to watch video content about animals on their mobile devices when the animals remain hidden.
