Tierpark Herford

Tierpark Herford is a zoo covering roughly 3 hectares with around 650 animals from approximately 90 species. The park displays both native forest animals and exotic creatures in varied enclosures throughout the space.

The park developed as a local institution over time, with periodic upgrades to its facilities and enclosures. Recent improvements were funded through community crowdfunding efforts that supported the expansion and modernization of the grounds.
