Scheune Bollewick, Entertainment center and barn in Bollewick, Germany.
Scheune Bollewick is a large structure built from fieldstone and timber framing that stretches 125 meters long. Today it houses two floors of craft workshops, a café serving regional products, and space for rotating events.
The building was constructed in 1881 as a stable for hundreds of cattle. After decades serving agriculture, it transformed in 1991 into a space for crafts and culture.
Inside, craftspeople work with traditional techniques, and exhibitions, concerts, and markets happen regularly throughout the year. The space draws visitors interested in local craftsmanship and regional products.
The venue is open Monday through Saturday and offers space to browse and shop across two floors. Visitors should allow time to explore the various workshops and pause at the café.
The building now functions as a learning center for sustainable energy use, with permanent exhibitions on bioenergy production and ecological practices. Visitors discover lesser-known sides of modern farming and resource conservation.
