Mungo Park

The Mungo Park theater ensemble includes actors, directors, playwrights, and scenographers who collaborate to produce contemporary and traditional performances throughout the year.

Established in 1985 under the name Dr Dante, the theater received its current name in 1992 and has since grown into a central institution of Danish performing arts.

The theater presents 250 to 350 performances annually, reaching an audience of 40,000 people through a mix of new dramas and experimental productions.

Located 35 kilometers north of Copenhagen, the venue maintains partnerships with international theater companies and offers tickets through their official website.

Each production involves extensive research, workshops, and improvisations, with actors participating in all developmental stages from inception to performance.
