The Denmark Expedition was an Arctic exploration which lasted from 1906 to 1908.
This scientific expedition aimed to explore the then largely unknown northeast coast of Greenland.
Led by Ludvig Mylius-Erichsen, the team collected valuable ethnographic and geological data.
Access to the remote areas visited by the expedition today requires specialized equipment and permission.
Unfortunately, the Denmark Expedition ended tragically with the loss of leader Mylius-Erichsen and two companions.
