Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, Five-star hotel in Jerónimos district, Spain.
The Mandarin Oriental Ritz occupies a Belle Époque building next to the Prado Museum and features 153 rooms decorated with classical European elements.
King Alfonso XIII initiated the hotel construction in 1910 to establish Madrid as a destination for European nobility and international travelers.
The hotel restaurant Deessa, led by chef Quique Dacosta, received two Michelin stars for its innovative interpretation of Spanish gastronomy.
The property includes a heated indoor pool, steam room, fitness center, and five restaurants serving different culinary experiences throughout the day.
