Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Socorro, Aspe

The Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Socorro features a cruciform layout with a single nave, side chapels, and three entrance portals decorated with religious sculptures.

Construction of the basilica started in 1650 under architect Francesc Verde, with the final phases including the dome and bell tower completed by Lorenzo Chapuli in 1737.

Red crosses carved within circles on the pillars between chapels represent the twelve apostles, while the pendentives display images of the four evangelists.
