Playa de Los Cristales

Playa de Los Cristales stretches 160 meters in length and 20 meters in width, featuring a mix of white sand and pebbles along the shoreline.

The beach received its name from a former glass factory that discarded materials, which over time transformed into smooth, polished fragments scattered across the shore.

Local fishermen maintain traditional fishing practices at this beach, contributing to the preservation of maritime heritage in northern Spain.

The beach lacks basic facilities such as restrooms and lifeguards, while parking spaces remain limited to less than fifty vehicles in an unsupervised area.

Mixed with regular beach pebbles, countless fragments of eroded glass create an unusual geological composition rarely found on other Spanish beaches.
