Tigray Province

The best time to visit is during the dry season when roads are easier to travel and the weather is more pleasant. Visitors should prepare for different elevations and pack warm clothing, especially when heading to higher areas.

Two major rivers flow through the territory and create unusual land formations in the area. These water channels have shaped the landscape and have been used by people living here for a long time.
