Château d'Armailhac, Fifth Growth winery in Pauillac, France.

The 70-hectare estate contains plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes across gravelly soil terrain.

Originally established in 1750 as Mouton-d'Armailhacq, the estate was purchased by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1934 and renamed Château d'Armailhac in 1989.

The wine production follows traditional Bordeaux methods while incorporating precise temperature controls and modern fermentation techniques in steel tanks.

Wine enthusiasts can participate in guided tours of the cellars and vineyards, followed by tastings of the estate's wines throughout the year.

The property maintains some of the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Pauillac, which served as source material for neighboring vineyards.
