Unapdev

Unapdev is a natural hot spring in Shahada that emerges from a distinctive cow-mouth-shaped rock formation and releases water at about 50 to 60 degrees Celsius. The site includes basic bathing areas where people can immerse themselves in the warm water.

The thermal spring has attracted pilgrims to the Nandurbar district in Maharashtra for generations. Over time, it developed into an important destination for religious visits and spiritual devotion.

Local people come to this site for spiritual bathing and prayer, particularly during seasonal gatherings and celebrations. The thermal waters hold significance in the spiritual practices of the region.

It is best to visit during cooler months when the heat is less intense and more comfortable for bathing. The site is accessible by bus or taxi from Nandurbar railway station, located about 40 kilometers away.

The spring flows continuously throughout the year, even during intense summer months when other water sources in the region dry up. This reliable flow makes it a valued place in an otherwise dry climate.
