Shiva Temple, Bavka

Shiva Temple is a 10th-century shrine standing on a knoll near Hirlav Lake between the villages of Bavka and Chandwada. The structure features intricate stone carvings and sculptural details covering its outer surfaces from base to top.

The shrine was built during the reign of Chaulukya ruler Bhima II, with an inscription dated 1234 carved into its walls. This marking helps historians understand the period and significance of the location more precisely.
