Lago Misérin, lake in Italy
Lago Misérin is a small mountain lake in Italy situated above 2600 meters elevation. The clear water reflects the sky and surrounding rocks, nestled in a quiet basin enclosed by steep slopes.
The lake has existed for many years and changed little over the centuries. It remains a hidden spot, primarily used by local people and hikers seeking quiet moments in nature.
The lake is best reached on foot or by bike along mountain trails, with a round trip walk taking about 8 hours. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes, carry water, and follow marked routes as some sections cross rough terrain.
The hiking trail passes by a small shelter called Teppe Londze run by the national park. From the plateau you can see all three lakes at once and view the surrounding mountain peaks stretching across the horizon.
