San Filippo Neri

San Filippo Neri is a baroque church in central Genoa featuring an elaborate interior with gilded stucco and painted ceiling scenes. The decorative scheme flows through the main nave with religious imagery and ornamental details throughout the space.

This church was founded in 1674 on the site of a former noble family residence. Between 1834 and 1928, it served as the home of Genoa's music conservatory.
