Palazzo Maggiani, Art Nouveau palace in La Spezia, Italy

The building stands at the intersection of Corso Cavour and Viale Aldo Ferrari, featuring different decorative patterns on each floor of its exterior.

Built between 1900 and 1902, Palazzo Maggiani introduced the first hydraulic elevator in La Spezia, which remained operational until the 1990s.

The palace exhibits typical Art Nouveau elements through its decorations, including an angel figure, peacock motifs, and sunflower designs across the structure.

Located in central La Spezia, the palace contains a wooden carved concierge lodge in the entrance hall and three separate staircases for access.

A glass skylight covers the internal courtyard, where visitors can observe the architectural details that earned recognition at the 1910 Paris Exhibition.
