The Valley of Hell, extending to Vatican walls, contained limestone furnaces that supplied materials for Saint Peter's Basilica construction during the 16th century.
The park grounds hold remnants of ancient Torlonia family structures, reflecting the agricultural heritage and architectural evolution of Roman countryside estates.
Multiple entrances connect to public transportation, with bus lines 446, 49, C6, train FL3, and Metro A Cornelia providing direct access to different sections.
The park contains over 600 plant varieties and 71 bird species, plus a dedicated area called Forest of Life with common oaks and Judas trees.
