Irno's urban park

Irno's urban park is a large green space along the river with multiple walking pathways and distinct themed zones. It features seven specialized gardens with different botanical collections, children's play areas, sports facilities, and a historic mill building from its industrial past.

The site was once an industrial area with a brick factory that was later transformed into this green space. The conversion preserved original structures including the mill, kiln, and chimney as reminders of its manufacturing past.

The amphitheater serves as a gathering place where the community hosts performances and seasonal events throughout the year. The converted mill building nearby functions as a gallery space for local artists and regional exhibitions.

The park is accessible from Lungoirno street with several entry points spread throughout the area. Comfortable footwear is recommended as you explore the different gardens and zones at your own pace.

The park features specialized gardens such as the Garden of Centenarians and a Garden of Medicinal Plants that reflect local knowledge about plants and their uses. These collections give the space a character beyond typical recreational grounds.
