Villa Caruso di Bellosguardo, Renaissance villa in Lastra a Signa, Italy.

Villa Caruso di Bellosguardo is a residence in Lastra a Signa composed of two main building sections connected by a column-supported corridor that displays a balanced Renaissance design. The estate also encompasses extensive gardens with tree-lined paths, artificial ponds, and sculptures that reflect baroque garden traditions of Tuscany.

The Pucci family acquired the property in 1540 and commissioned architect Giovanni Antonio Dosio in 1585 to transform it into a park with gardens and ponds. The estate later became associated with world-famous tenor Enrico Caruso, who gave it new cultural significance.

The residence was home to the Pucci family for generations and later became connected to renowned tenor Enrico Caruso, whose personal belongings and memorabilia are displayed here. Visitors can see how the property reflects the lives of these significant figures and has become a place dedicated to artistic appreciation.

Access is gained through well-maintained pathways across the gardens, and the main buildings are typically accessible for organized groups or during cultural events. It is advisable to check ahead of time since the property regularly hosts exhibitions and events that operate on specific schedules.

The garden sculptures were created by Romolo del Tadda, the same artist who contributed to the renowned Boboli Gardens in Florence. This connection to one of Tuscany's most important gardens reveals the artistic standards pursued in shaping this property.
