Torre della Vittoria, Memorial tower in Piazza Trento e Trieste, Ferrara, Italy.
The Torre della Vittoria stands 57 meters tall with red brick walls, stone corners, and Gothic crenellations next to the Municipal Palace in Ferrara.
The tower replaced an earlier structure that collapsed in 1570 and was constructed between 1924 and 1928 to commemorate Italian soldiers from World War I.
Local citizens and Jewish community members contributed funds for the tower's construction, demonstrating the strong social connections in 1920s Ferrara.
Visitors can access the memorial shrine through the street-level entrance, which features an ornate wrought iron gate designed by architect Girolamo Savonuzzi.
The tower houses a bell crafted from melted Austrian cannons and displays a bronze statue titled The Victory of the Piave by sculptor Arrigo Minerbi.
