Villa dei Quintili, Archaeological site on Via Appia Antica, Rome, Italy.

The Villa dei Quintili complex extends across several acres, featuring thermal baths, residential quarters, and an associated aqueduct with 120 arches.

Built in the second century AD by the Quintili brothers, the villa was later seized by Emperor Commodus who executed the owners to acquire their property.

The architectural elements and discovered artifacts within the villa complex demonstrate the refined construction techniques and living standards of Roman aristocracy.

The archaeological site maintains regular visiting hours from Tuesday to Sunday, with guided tours available through the Archaeological Park of Appia Antica.

The site contains an underground water system with large cisterns and plumbing networks that showcases Roman hydraulic engineering capabilities.
