Miyamae-ku

Miyamae-ku is a residential ward in eastern Kanagawa that spans multiple neighborhoods including Arima, Saginuma, and Kajigaya. Two train lines operated by Tokyu Corporation run through the area, connecting stations that serve daily commuters.

The area was inhabited during the Kofun period, as evidenced by archaeological discoveries of ancient settlements. It later became part of Tachibana District within Musashi Province.
